14 (15 if we’re including Alex M) super Spartans started this stupendous local race - a proper fell race feel round our lovely local Frodsham hills. A firm favourite in the calendar and a fantastic club esprit de corps, encouraged by Chris B and Nick B on hand with cheers and photos, not to mention Binns on marshalling duty at Abraham’s Leap.
Tom L led the Spartans home in an impressive 7th place, ahead of Alex M in 10th. Wallman was 3rd Spartan home, only 2 minutes behind Alex and showing all the young pretenders how it’s done.
Huge kudos to the Spartan ladies as the first three home, Natasha C, Yasmin D (despite having tired legs and stating part way through that it was hideous) and Meagan H won the trophy for fastest female team.
Special mention for Jake L who is on top form, knocking a massive 4 minutes off his time from last year and zooming through the Spartan rankings on the day.
